Living organism without mass does not exist. Gravity is basic force that acts on mass. Every living object is affected by its self gravity which interacts with extrinsic gravity. Self gravity in biological mass mimics gravitational phenomena of larger mass (stellar bodies). Life continues till metabolic energy could counteract gravitational energy of intrinsic and extrinsic gravity. Metabolically inert infrastructure (mainly fluids)provides requisite buoyant force in a co-moving reference frame.

- Sir Issac Newton discovered gravity as an invisible attractive force of the earth that causes ‘apple’ to fall on earth. Prior to his discovery, falling of apple on earth was considered as “natural phenomena” and nothing special about it. But subsequently it gave birth to Universal Laws of Gravitation. It was a grand step to understand mysterious properties of nature. Myself from boyhood and especially for last 30 years was wondering why ‘apple itself is round?’ Why not square? Why canopy is round? Starting from tiny bacteria to giant animals in natural word is more or less in the pattern of gyrate shape. Why human body is obsessed centrally at the abdominal region due to accumulation of visceral fat? Why fat should find place in the ‘middle’ instead of going down on ‘feet’, as per gravitational attraction of earth? After long meticulous examination, rapid experimentation and critical observation of various facts, I came to the conclusion that various ‘little understood’ natural phenomena in living organisms could be answered appropriately with the introduction of the concept of self-gravity (intrinsic) and its interaction with earth’s gravity (extrinsic).
